Our Team
North Arm Farm is a 53 acre working farm. Established in 1995 by Jordan and Trish Sturdy, we strive to deliver the best of farm-to-table fare. We have worked with many of the best restaurants in Whistler, Squamish, and Vancouver, as well as feeding our local community year round.
We grow over 50 varieties of fruit and vegetables - are we’re never done finding our new favourites. Everything from Asparagus and Raspberries, to Jerusalem Artichokes and Salsify - we’ve grown it all!
Our business is constantly evolving, we we are looking for the best of the best to represent the farm. Whether it be in the field, delivering to restaurants, making our famous pickles and sauces, or washing dishes; every member of our team plays a critical role.
The Field Crew
Interested in farming? Come work with us this summer and experience every aspect of our farm-to-table operation.
From seeding and transplanting, to weeding, irrigating, and harvest. We are a full service operation, working with all your favourite local restaurants and serving the local community.
No experience is necessary, and we will give all the tools for success. Pop by the farm anytime to get an idea of what we do and how to do it.
Our main harvest season runs from the 1st of April to the 15th of November, and we have opportunities to join the team at any point in the season. We continue to process vegetables and deliver to restaurants year round - so there are ample opportunities for full-time year-round employment.
Ideal Candidates for this role will:
Enjoy working outside in (all weather conditions!)
Have a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Be able to follow detailed instructions diligently, and have excellent time management skills
Flourish working with a team
Be physically capable to completing tasks that require long periods of bending over, and carrying & lifting up to 23kg
Not be afraid of a bit of mud!
The Events Team
Does agritourism fuel you? We host a variety of different events on the farm - including Longtable Dinners, Weddings, Conferences, Farmer’s Markets, and Festivals. We’re currently hiring for an Events Assistant for the 2023 season, beginning in May of 2023.
If you have strong communication skills and are detail oriented, send us an email! Responsibilities will include:
assisting the Events Manager
communicating with clients via email & phone
giving venue tours to prospective clients
supervising events with support from the North Arm Farm management team

All applicants must be currently eligible to work in Canada. Please include your age in your application, as we have access to some wage subsidies through a federal program - some of these funds are dependent on age.
